" THE FATAL WEDDING." The tide of popular success seems to have set in for the sensational AngloAmerican musical drama, " The Fatal Wedding," if the enthusiastic reports i from other places are any criterion. Nightly since its first presentation at His Majesty's, Auckland, the theatre has been packed. The bright children's scenes, the storm, the march of the " Tin Can Band " of over 40 children, aro among the many features that will be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to gain admission. " Last night," says a contemporary, "Mr Charles Vane and Miss May Congdon, and the host of clever principals identified with the production, all formed a combination of dramatic excellence hitherto unequalled in the colonies. Incident follows incident in quick succession, and the culminating scone in Grace Church is one of the triumphs of dramatic art." The season promises to be fraught with exceptional brilliancy, and the opening night, on Monday next, should draw a large audience. The run is limited to two nights only. The plans will open at the Dresden to-morrow, Tuesday. Many applications for seats are being received daily.
