HYPNOTISM EXTRAORDINARY.
A BLINDFOLD DRIVE.
A hypnotic display of a very sensational character will be placed before the public of New Plymouth during this week at Bostock and Wombwell's Circus by Professor Bonner and his subject, Mr 8. C. Williams. On Thursday afternoon next at 3 o'clock, in the prosence .of the public and a ronmittco comprising several interested well-known local gentlemen, Mr Williams will be hypnotised and perform a very remarkable and scientific feat. First of all several members of the ommitteo will drive away from the circus, and choosing their own route, will select any warehouse or dwelling aid in it hide an article previously agreed upon. They will then drive back, following the exact route which they took in the first instance. On their arrival at the circus Mr Williams (who, with the Professor, has in the meantime been closely watched by the section pf the committee who remained behind) will be hypnotised and blindfolded, and, with all the members of the committee in the vehicle, will trace out the exact route and eventually d'scover the hidden- article. Doctors and scientists have pronounced this scientific turn to be one of the most in. structive and sensational feat? ever performed south of the Equator. .At Wanganui, Put-ea, Hawera and Stratford the public committee consisted of the Mayor, medical men, clergymen, and prominent citizens, and no doubt the people of New Plymouth will take full advantage of this unique opportunity to turn out in large numbers to witness this sensational and scientific feat.
