Wellington, May 27, At the Supreme Court yesterday ifopi Tan&ra, who had pleaded guilty to theft at Hastings', was sentenced by Chief Justice Sir .Robert Stout to six months imprisonment. John McCusker for stealing from a dwelling at Napier, wus sentenced to twelve months iniprisonmeut, and J as. Kennedy, alias George Cicary, for three offences of falso pretences and ono of forgery received a sentence of two years imprisonmeut.
