HORSE OWNERS' ASSOCIATION.

FBB rHEBB ASSOCIATION. Wanganui, May 25. A meeting of the North Island Horae Owners' Association was held last night. There was a large attendance, Mr C. E. Major presiding. Mr Major was elected president. Additions to the committee were made as follows: Murdoch McLean (Auckland), Norman Banks (Waikalo), Dr. Graham (Wanganui), D. Buick (Palmerston North), R. H. Abbott (Wellington), J. B. Mac Donald (Wellington), and J. Macara (Masterton). It was decided that bookmakers be ineligible for membership. A large amount of routiuu basiicss was transacted, and the committee met this morning to disease matters of importance in connection with racing reform.
