ALIEN IMMIGRATION.
IMPERIAL RESPECT OP COLONIAL POLICY. Received 25,11.47 p.m. Lundon, May 25. Lord Elgin had every reason to believe that tho Australasian Governments fully recognised the question of emigration had a direct bearing on the external relations of the colonies, and no doubt their Governments would continue to give full weight to the views of the Imperial Government.
