Tho crowded audionoes which have greeted this talented vocalist, and the enthusiasm evinced on the occasion of her roccnt concerts in tho larger centres of New Zealand, bears strong testimony to the popularity of the charming and delightful contralto To Rangi Pai, and her appearance in the Theatre Royal on Tuesday ovoning should bo an event of great moment in the musical hiitory of Now Plymouth.
Aii enthusiastic London critic lias described her as being almost the finest contralto in England, and the flattering criticisms she has received during her recitals in London are evidence of the very high favor in which she is held on the English concert nlatform. Amongst thoso assisting Te Rangi Pai is the eminent tenor, Mr W. B. Cadzow, who has long since gained the well merited reputation of being one of the most pleasing vocalists that has visited the colony, and his appearance on Tuesday night should be looked forward to with interest and pleasure to all.
