NEXT CONFERENCEAT MADRID Received 25,12.9 u.m. Rous, May 24. The Postal Congress deoided that the next Congress meet at Madrid. The final choice lay between Spain and Australia. The American delegate proposed Melbourne, claiming that Australia was a young country, which had made vast progress. Mr Chapman (Commonwealth delegate) was much « applauded for his specdi, in which he thanked the Americans.
