SHOCKING DISCLOSURES.
FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Di'NBDiN, Mny 22. At the annual meeting of the Society for the Protection of Women and Children, a motion was carried in fayor of the appointment of a female nspector by tlie Benevolent Trustees. In supporting the motion Dr. Emily Siedeberg narrated the facts of some startling oases to show that women would tell women things they would not tell a male inspector. The very worst oase. slio said, was that of a woman who, prior to her fourth con. finement, was assaulted by her husband, who had frequently used his feet onhorfor the purpose of killing the child. lie had succeeded, four of the children having died before or a few days after birth. This woman had not cared to lay the facts before a committee of men
