FEMALB FRANCHISE DEPOTATION. London, May 30. Sir H. Gampbell-Bannerman, reply, ing to it deputation of 660 women suffragists who waited upon him at the Foreign Office with a manifesto representing 760,000 signatures, said the deputation was conclusive evidence of an irrofutablo ease. The Government, however, were not united as to the expediency of acting in the matter, and he must preaoh patience. The reply was hissed. Meetings of protest were subsequently held on tho Thames Embankment and in Trafalgar Square. Eeceived 21,10.15 p.m. London, May 21.
