The Prince of Wales at the Guildhall, reviewing; his tour, said that he realised (lie patience, the simplicity of life, the loyal devotion and the rcligi ous spirit characterising the Indian peoples. He knew also their faith in the absolute justice and integrity of their rule. He felt that the task of governing would be made easier if we infused into it a wider element of sympathy. To this he predicted an abundant and genuine response.
