Mr Seddon suggested that twenty students from the Hawkesbury College should be sent to Lincoln, and he promised to ask the authorities of Lincoln College to send twenty to Hawkesbury. Such a scheme would produce invaluable interchange of ideas in regard to the difference of farming condition* between New South Wales and New Zealand Mr Seddon said he was prepared, if the New South Wales Government would defray the expenses el •ending their students, that the New Zealand Government would defray the expenses of New Zealand's.

The State are entertaining Mr Seddon at a private dinner to-night.
