Wbmimoton, May 17, Late last night an electric tram, running on Kent Terrao« track, ran down a couple 6! women, who suddenly emerged from the reserve in that locality, and stepped right between the rails. She aeemed anxious to get away, hut, in answer to questions, ?ave her name and address, which afterwards pro Ted false. The other woman was in a bad plight, and wan romored to the hospital, goffering from a fractured skull. She remained in the institution all last night, and to-day was unidentified, but lato this evening was identified by Alfred Chynoweth a> 'lis wife, Catherine; aged 86, She is »ull unconscious, and is not likely to recover. A . bottle of whisky wu found at the spot where the accident occurred. Two men, who were with the women, ran away.
