The Fitzroy Fire Brigade ball, which is fixed for Whit Monday (Prince of Wales' Birthday) should prove one of the most enjoyable dances of the season. Not only are adults certain of a good time there, but even the juvenile devotees of the poetry of be catered for. An exceptionally good ladies' committee has the arrangements in hand, and having the benefit of Mrs Dockrill's experience, there is no doubt everything will be done to ensure success, especially as Mr Turner's orchestra will be rosponsi !• for the music.
