FARM AND DAIRY.

The town of Morrinsvillc, situate at the junction of the Rotorua and Te Aroha-Tharaes railway, is also on the main County road leading from Te Aroha to Hamilton and Cambridge

ft is the chief commercial centre of Piako county. During the last two years such rapid strides have been made that it is safe to predict much greater development in the near future. The land surrounding Morrinsvillc is of very fair average quality (a great deal of it is first class). It takes grass well; large areas of pasture have been down for 12 to 16 years, and will now maintain 2 or more sheep per acre. Some of the best dairy farms in the province are situate at and around Morrinsville. The field of turnips, rape, and oaten hay crops will compare well with even the best Taranaki lands. It is no exception to thresh 70 and more bushels of oats per acre, ami large areas of land will grow maize equally good as Opotiki and Whakatane. Samples grown at Kurunui, 2 miles from the township, can be inspected at our offices.
