FKB PBBSS ASSOCIATION Palhbbstos N., May 15. The population of Palmerstou North, is returned as 10,168, an incroase of 3,630 in Hve years. Palmerston is now the fifttftown in the colony. The Campbell street school committee has decided to ereot school I baths at a cost of £SOO, Owing to the opening up of some old cess pits in connection with new drainage works, a number of cases of diptheria has occurred in the town.
