CONCLUSION OF COMMUNICATION. PEE PESB ASSOCIATION. CHBISTCHUBOH, May 10. The concluding sitting of the aumial Communication of the New Zealand Grand Lodge was held this morning when the Most Worshipful Brother Lord Flunket presided. A motion in favour of appointing a new Grand Lodge officer, to be called Grand Counsel was discussed, and eventually it was withdrawn. A resolution was passed instructing the Board of General Purposes to arrange for a conference of representatives of the Grand Lodge of Australia, with a view of forming a Counoil of Reference to which questions of Masonic autonomy and other Masonic matters of reciproeal interest might, from time to time, he referred, A motion in favor of the admission of ladies as spectators at the installation of Grand Masters was considered, and eventually adjourned until next annual Communication. A purse of sovereigns was presented to the immediate Past Grand Master, the Most Worshipful Brother A. H. Barton, from the members «f the oraft in general, in recognition of his zeal in the interests of Masonry during his term of office. This concluded the business, and the Grand Lodge was closed 'in due form, to re-assemble in Invercargill twelve months hence.
