NEW PLYMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL.
At the adjourned meeting of the New Plymouth Borough Council on Monday night, to appoint committees, there were present: His Worship the Mayor (Mr E. Dockrill), and Councillors Moiitcatli, Ewing, Brooking, Collis, Hutchen, Browne, and Webster. On the Mayor's motion, committees were elected as under : Works: The whole Council, with the Ma.yor and Crs. Brooking, Browne and Monteath as a sub-committee. Estimates: The whole Council. Finance: The Mayor and Crs. Brooking, Monteath, and Webster. Reserves: Crs. Collis, Browne, Wilson, and Webster. _ By-laws: The Mayor and Crs. Ewmg, Wilson, and Hutchen. Electric Lighting: Crs. Brooking, Monteath, and Webster. Abattoirs: The Mayor, and Crs. Ewing, Monteath, and ifutchen. Drainage: The Mayor, and Crs. Browne, Ewing, and Brooking. Baths, and Kawaroa Park: Crs, Colli.". Stohr, and Webster, Messrs W. L. Newman aiul G. Tisch. East End Bathing Shed : Crs. Monteath, Ewing and Wilson. Western Park: Tile Mayor, and Crs. Browne, Webster and Stohr, and Messrs G. Tisch, L. W. Alexander, and A R. Standisli, .Representatives on Recreation Ground Board: The Mayor, and Crs. Hutchen, and Collis. Library: The Mayor, and Crs. Collis, Hutchen, and Wilson. Encroachments : Crs. Brooking, Browne, anil Stohr.
