THE RAILWAY DEVIATION.
INLAND KOUTE DEFINITELY ADOPTED. t On Tuesday the Town Clerk received a communication from the General Manager of Railway?, replying to tjio New Plymouth Borough Qoproil'g letter of the 10th April. Mf Ronayrie states that it has been definitely route, and he suggestion that the plans should be placed before it for review cannot be complied with. The decision, lie states, has been arrived at after Tery mature consideration, and, he regrets, cannot be altered. The railway will accordingly traverse 1 a line midway between Buller and Mole,worth Streets, and along the backs of the sections facing the above streets.
