■ —• COLONIAL DELEGATES' MOVEMENTS. INTERESTED IN WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY. Received 20,4.57 a.m. Rome, April 28. Sir J. G. Ward and Mr Chapjuan (Commonwealth), accompanied by the Canadian delegates to the Postal Congress, paid a long visit to the ethergraphs station at Montemario. During the visit, wireless messages wero exchanged with Madalaua, two hundred miles away. The visitors were greatly impressed, and declared the installation in Australasia ivould be of great service. They also carefully examined the Government's private telephone system. Mr Chapiuan devotes considerable energy to securing a decision by the] Congress regarding the rates charged in connection with the telephone system.

Received 30, 1245 a.m. Rome, April 29. j Sir Joseph Ward, at the Postal Congress, in a speech lasting an hour, moved a resolution in favor of Universal Penny Postage. The speech created a favorable impression and he was warmly cheered at the conclusion. The debate was adjourned till Tuesday.
