188 PBBSS ASSOCIATION, Wbllikqton, April 27. The aanual meeting of Fire Uuderwrfters' Associations of New Zealand has just concluded in Wellington, after a fitting extending over three days. The question of tariff rates was not dealt with, but it was decided that on premises having electrical connections five per cent, will be added to existing rates, unless a certificate for such installation is obtained from the electrical inspector of the associated offices. Mr James Buttle, general manager of the New Zealand Insurance Company, was elected president for the ensuing year. • ,
