A DERELICT.
PEE PBESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, April 26. The tug Duco, which was sent in search ef the dorelict vessel seen in Cook Straits, came up with an over turned vessel 20 miles north of £apiti Islands. Grappling irons wore mado fast to tho derelict, but on each occasion the tow-line parted, and as the wind and sea were increasing, the Duco left her. Captain Abram described the vessel as being copper fastenod, with a whito hull of yacht-like lines. JNo name was visible. He believed the vessel is the Ronga, which left Lyttelton on Saturday, coal laden, for Haveloek.
