POSITION LESS EE-ASSUIUNG. PIETEBSMABITZDEBG, April 23, Natives declare that armed members of chief Mapamulo's tribe are going to join Sigawandi. A neighboring tribe, under chief Ndube, have been " doctored" or prepared for war. The Natal Premier has summoned two hundred nulitia reserves in each magistracy in the northern districts to assist in the operations in Zululand.

The services of 1000 mounted natives, who volunteered, have been accepted and they have concentrated |at Ediudale and Ladysatith under experienced colonists.
