The total shipmeit of butter from Auckland district for the year ended jaircb. 3Ut, was bbxes.'Butter in store at the end of March was 8510 boxes, making a total of 116,786 boxes for the year, representing 2919 tons 13 ewt. The amount shows an increase of 9894 boxes over the previous year, The rake of the past year's exports was approximately £291,965. Ship-1 .ments of cheese for the past year amounted to 2261 cases, as against 1610 " enerfer the previous" yea*.
