, . FEB FBESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, April 20. The City Council to-night was waited on by a' deputation from the recent public meeting which urged that the Council should establish a Zoological collection at Newtown Park. The Corincil decided to' accept an offer oi the gift of a "young lion; and referred the general question to the Finance Committee.
