At the twenty first annual Conference of the Church of Christ for the South Island, Captain Sandstrum presiding, delegates wero present' from Christchurch, Duuedin, Oamaru and other centres. Fraternal greetings were sent to the Conference in luckland and in Wellington. A committee was instructed to procure Evangelistic assistance for the Church at Morningtou and Oamaru. The Foreign Mission Committee reported that F. L. Hadfield would leave shortly to take up work in Bulawayo. The training committee reported that it would soon be able to undertake the support and education of suitable young men for the work of proclaiming the Gospel. The establishment of a Bible College in connection with tho Melbourne University would facilitate the movement. The following executivo was elected for the ensuing year:—President, C. F. Sandstrum; vice-president" A. Ray j secretary, C. Kippenberger. treasurer, J. Rutledge ; associates, A. Thompson and James Stokes. Christchurch was chosen for tho next Conference.
