NAVAL MUTINY.
THE PORTUGESE OUTBREAK. SEVERAL VEBBELS JOIN IN. GARRISONS INSUBORDINATE.
A SERIOUB SITUATION. Received 16,0.25 p.m. London, April 10. Reuter's Madrid correspondent states that the crews of the Portugese ironclad Vasoo de Gama mutined at Lisbon on Friday evening. In response to signals and cries for help, a tug went to enquire, but was received with rifle shots and comI pelled to return.
Other vessols, including the Don Carlos, were similarly treated. It is reported the crew killed » lieutenant, because he killed a sailor who was about to fire one of the ship's guns at the shore. The Portugese newspapers add that the Vasco de Gama constantly rig. nailed the Don Carlos, which mutined on the oth inst. The crew of the destroyer Tejo and the training ship Don Fernando alio mutined, * Reports are current of acts of in. subordination in several of the garrison towns. Seven of the Don Carlos* crew hare been arrested.
