Tokiq, April 16. Several earthquakes have been experienced in Formosa. Beceivejl 17,12.2. a.m. London, April 16.

The earthquake in Southern Formosa has enormously increased the miseries caused by the recent shock. Kaji and Doko arc again the chief sufferers. On the present occasion one hundred and nine persons were killed and twenty-nine injured. It is feared many more deaVas will be recorded when reports from outlying districts have been received, since the topography of the country is greatly changed. Thousands are homeless.
