The Victoria was delayed owing to the breaking of a high pressure cylinder at six o'clock yesterday morning, when within seventy-five miles of the Heads. A boat in charge of Chicf-Ollicet. Bates was immediately despatched to seek assistance. After several hours work the engineers succeeded in gelling the engines to work again and resumed the voyage at slow speed. At two o'clock this morning she picked up Mr Bates' boat within twenty-five miles of the Heads.
