The Labor Conference discussed the Chamber of Manufacturers' proposal to carry on a joint Protectionist propaganda, and the Protectionists' Association's suggestion not to contest ccrtaii Mats where the contests were .-■" -between Freetrade and Protection. ' "- TBn Conference decided to contest! every seat where there was a possibility of labor winning, and not to co-operate with the Chamber of Manufacturers, but to fight for hbor principles only.
