FIRE ON A LINER
PEE FBESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, April 10. This afternoon a fire was discovered in tho hold of the Tyser steamer Mimiro now loading a Homeward cargo at the wharves. The outbreok was promptly extinguished by the crew. The fire originated in some liomp which had been shipped at Auckland About eight bales were charred and 28 bales damaged by water.
