ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
PElt PRESS ASSOCIATION. CiißisTCiiuncH, April 9. On Sunday afternoon a lad named Oswald Robert Klby, while fishing, fell oft the wharf at Lytlelton and was drowned. To-day, at the inquest, a verdict was vetuvned that death was due to accident, a recommendation being added, that the Harbor Board should place life-buoys on the wharf. Xapikr, April 9. A. W. Besant, shipping clerk for Williams and Kettle, Ltd., died suddenly in the hospital this afternoon An inquest will be held. De«oased was very popular in shipping circles.
