EGG-LAYING COMPETITION.
FEB FBESS ASSOCIATION. Chkistchubcu, April 2. The statement for the 48th week of the Now Zealand Utility Poultry Club's egg-laying competition at Lincoln College shows that 236 eggs were laid during the week, making a total to date of 29,534. The best totals for tho week were: H. Hawke's Silver Wyandottes, 24; W. B. Cowlishaw's Black Orpington's, 17; R. E. M. Evan's Silver Wyandottes, 15. The highest totals to-datearo: H. Hawke (Silver Wyandottes) 1206; H. Shaw (Brown Leghorns) 1002; J. Mann (White Wyandottes) 974.
