From enquiries mode it Ims been ascertained that all the victims of tho ptomaine poisoning cases on the Faeroa racecourse have recovered. The Thames sufferers, though some were badly attacked, arc nil now well. Tho residents of Faeroa, Waihi, and Hamilton, who were effected, are reported also recovered. It is stated the tongues were boiled in n copper, and allowed to stand all night, and it is believed the action of the salt on the copper contaminated the tongues, though a strange circumstance is that persons who refrained from eating tongues, and only partook of tea, were similarly attacked. Litigation is likely to ensue as the result of the occurrence.
