REPORTED GOLD FIND.
IN THE KING OOUNTKV. TEIt MESS ASSOCIATION'. lioToiti'A, March 21. A rumour is current iu town that gold has been discovered on Maori land between twenty and twenty-live miles from Galatea. A number of men are camped close by, waiting the permission of the Maoris to go on the land. The Sative Minister (Hon. J, Carroll) and Mr Kidd proceeded to Galatea.
