I'EB I'll ESS ASSOCIATION. W ki.linoto.v, March 18. The annual Regatta of the Wellington Rowing Association took place along the Oriental shore this afternoon. A fresh southerly breeze was blowing, and at times tho water was none too good for the light crafts engaged. The day was an outing for the crews from tho Star Club, Wellington, who won the Maiden Fours, Junior Clinker Fours, Senior Double Sculls, Senior Pairs, Senior Sculls and Junior Fours. They also finished second i:i the Senior Fours, Maiden Double Sculls, and Youths Fours. The Canterbury Club won the Senior Fours and Youths Fours. Union Club (Christchureh) won the Junior Pairs; Wellington Rowing Club won the Majden Double Sculls. Crews from l'icton, Wnngauui and Napier also competed, but did no good.
