INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION.
FEB PBESS ASSOCIATION Chbistchubch, March 10. Mr R.-Allen, one of the Executive Commissioners of the Exhibition iuforuicd a reporter to-day, that he wished to drawattcntiou to the statements made that correspondence was not promptly attended to at the exhibition office. He staled that anything in connection with the exhibition received the closest attention and was promptly dealt with by two Commissioners and the Secretary, and promptly replied to. If an immediate reply could not bo given the letter was acknowledged, and when the information was obtained it was forwarded. He might personally say that in regard to the correspondence it was given every attention, without excop. tion, and the work in the office was carried out in a most business-like manner. The only section in which delay might arise was the Home Industries branch, but the schedule is now in the hands of the printer and will be available in a few days. Mr Allen gave his emphatic denial to the assertion, and stated that the allegations were absolutely unfounded.
