The amount is to be paid to the Registrar, to be distributed amongst the wages men. The hearing of a breach of promise ease, Mrs U. Bcrcsford a widow, against Charles Woolfe, a cattle dealer at Rect'lou, claim £2OOO, is being heard, and will be concluded in the evening. Hqkitjka, March 11. In the breach of promise case Mrs B. Bcresford v. Charles Woolfe, the jury late last evening found for plaintiff and awarded £IOO damages.
