VISIT OF HOME DELEGATES. SecclTcd 8, 9.52 p.m. Sidney, March. 8. Mr Watson, Labor Leader, has re eeived a letter from Ramsay McDonald, Secretary of the British Labor Representation Committee. After reference to the overwhelnuug success of labor at the elections he says," We are now auxious to meet our Colonial friends with a view to coming to an •understanding with the democratic and labor forces in the Empire, as we consider this to be the next step which "the Labor Unions at Home and the Colonies should take. I can give an assurance on behalf of the Labor Parly that it has no intention of interfering with your fiscal policy, as we recognise this is a matter for yourselves and yourselves alone. Nor docs the Party want to interfere iu any question which is internal to your Colony only. We liive four main objects iu view: to rescue the Empire and the Imperial ; spirit from being exploited by reactionary and anti-social classes at /Howie; to mute the Empire stand for peace and democratic justice iu the eyes of the whole world; to study the various social experiments which have been started iu the Colonies; to get our Colonial fellow-workers to underst>4id the labor movement in the Hoth Country and feel a share iu its fortunes.
