THE LEPROSY CASE.
INTRODUCED PROM QUEENSLAND. TEU MESS ASSOCIATION. CiiEisTciiuncii, March 7. The case of leprosy reported yesterday, was taken from the Christchurch Hospital to the quarantine station at Quail Island in Lyttelton harbor. Dr. Upharo, of Lyttelton, is in charge of the patient, who, it is understood, came to New Zealand from Queensland, and it is thought may have been suffering from tho disease for some time before it made its presence felt in a marked degree.
