THE BIG EXHIBITION.

MUDDLING ALBEADY. PF.B PBESS ASSOCIATION. Blenheim, February 27. At a meting of the Marlborough Executive of the International Exhibition, keen disappointment was oxpressed at the fact that preparations for local representation were seriously hampered by the inability to obtain the necessary information from head quarters. It was stated that the secretary had written several times, but failed to obtain any particulars as to space etc. that were required, to enable tho committee to go to work, and tell intending exhibitors of cereals and wool what they wanted to know. Consequently Marlborough's chance of making an imposing representation hail been much handicapped. Though there were several enquiries from intending exhibitors, not one definite entry had yet been received, am) the time within which applications would be taken was all too short. The Secretary was instructed to write to the exhibition authorities expressing regret,.at the delay in forwarding schedules and conditions.
