TARANAKI JOCKEY CIUB. The monthly meeting of the Taranaki Jockey Club committee was held on evening. A letter was read from the Secretary of the Racing Conference, thanking the Club for its explanation with regard to the ownership of Sylvan Tide. The Avoudale Jockey Club wrote, in answer to a letter from this Club that it could not alter its dates of meeting from 31st March, owing to the proximity of the Auckland meeting.
