LOYAL EGMONT LOO .IK. A large amount id' correspondence was dealt with at the meeting of l-lic Egmont Lmlgc of Oddfellows held lasl evening. It was decided to accept I).'. Hla-di-ley, as Surgeon, in accordance with the wishes of Dr. 10. A Walker. Lodge Surgeon.
A letter was received from I ho Tar.inaki Garrison Band, requesting the assistance of the L)dge al a torchlight [procession M-uvh. and it was resolved to take part with oilier Societies.
One candidate was proposed for membership.
P.G. Bro. Harrison, of the Loyal Eltham Lodge, and N.G. Bro. Hay, of the Palmerston North Lodge (Loyal Manawntu), visited the Lodge, and were accorded Lodge honors.
A letter was received from the Rose of Shannon Lodge, Upper Hull, conveying the sympathy of their lodge in the death of the late Permaueut Secretary, Bro. Bennett. '
