The match between Manawatu aud Melbourne concluded to-day, ending a nine wickets defeat for Manawatu, who started their second innings ten behind. They were all disposed ot for 83, leaving the Australians 71 to get to win. This they did with the loss of one man. Armstrong took 10 wickets for 29, and Butler three for 11.
