The Premier, speaking at the opening of the new drillshed at the Hutt, said that volunteer matters in. the colony were never more popnla\ We had now a record number of voluntoors, riflemen, cadets, and permanent forces, of over 20,1 XX), the highest number ever in the colony, and additional companies and rifle clubs were offering.
