Cinnabar and what" is termed " Ful lcr's Earth" deposits arc also to be worked out, while a proposal is on foot to erect smelter works for the treatment of refractory ores from the Peninsula, etc., and especially from Great Barrier, Waiomo and Mi"atoto, near Thames, and To Arolia.
