The highest layings were: —Brook's White Leghorns (South Australia), 31; Aldridge's White Leghorns (Blenheim), 30; Hickman's Brown Leghorns (Balrairiy, 30. The oi'de 1 ' of merit in the grand aggregate now i.s Lcgcr, of Levin, 1113; Brooks, of South Australia, 101,8; Marlborough A, & P. Association, 1022 ; Jonathan Hodgson (Blenheim), 008 ; Mick Shaw (Blenheim), OOfi; Hockey, Brown Leg. horns (Nelson), 955; all these pens being While Leghorns. Moulting is proceeding satisfactorily.
