NEW PLYMOUTH HIGH SCHOOL.

MONTHLY BOARD MEETING. The monthly meeting of the New Plymouth High School Hoard of Governors was held in the Secretary's ollice on Wednesday night. There were present :—Messrs. MacDiannid (Chairman), lioy, Percy Smith, Perry, Dockrill, Eraser, and J. E. Wilson. The Principal, Mr Pridham, also attended. The Chairman and Mr Roy were appointed a Cominiltee to settle the list of free places at tin: school. The Chairman and Messrs. Berry, Eraser, and Wilson were appointed a Einance Committee. It was decided to continue awarding attendance prizes. Miss Jones (Stratford) was appointed sewing mistress. Accounts totalling JCI2D were passed for payment. A large amount of sp.rinl and routine business was transacted, the meeting lasting over three hours.
