DALGKTV & CO.'S KEPOHT. Dalgcty ,fc Company, Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cablegrams from their London ollice, dated the 18th instant : Butter: Market weak. We expect lower prices. Total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending 13th instant, amounted to 81,000 cwt, as compared with ',18,000 cwt. for the corresponding period of lal'l year. The Copenhagen olllcial quotation is G kroner* lower (about (is 7d) per cwt. We quote: Australian, finest, 110s to 112s. The market is depressed, and prices may decline further temporarily, hut we expect a better demand later possibly. Frozen Meat; Market very dull. Frozen mutton: Prices are firm. Frozen lamb: Prices are rather lower. X.Z. frozen beef: neglected. Since our telegram of the 10th instant, all sorts of iullow, except extra mutton tallow, are higher by (id per cwt. The wool sales continue active; competition is brisk, and the buying is general from all quarters. Fine merino wools, market firm. Inferior, faulty, and earthy wools, prices arc 5 per cent, lower than closing rates of last series. The wheat market is steady, but inactive.
