GARRISON BAND CONCERT.

There was a very fair attendance at the Promenade Concert given by (lie Taranaki Garrison Hand in the' New Plymouth Drill Mall on Thursday iiighl. The Band acquitted itself Weil in (he test and marching selections, and the various soloists also played their contest pieces. Squads from'the f'aranaki liitles gave displays of physical and arm drill, and bayonet fighting. All the items were" applauded, and the audience seemed quite pleased with I he programme provided.
