Fat cat lie.--2 ili heal yarded; bidding wi; fairly good throughout, and price.-, particularly for best beef, were about equal to late values. Best bullocks £9 to £lO 10s; extra heavy, £ll to £l2 15s; medium to good, £0 10s to £H 15s; Dest eows and heifers, £6 to £8; ordinary £ I to £5 Ilk. Fat sheep, IS7O were penned; a large proportion were good to prime. Wethers supply proved too great, and wethers suffered to the extent of Is Od per head, while for ewes the reduction was even more pronounced. Best wethers, 19s to 21s lid; extra prime and heavy, 2ls 3d; medium to good, lis (id to 18s; best ewes, 17s to to 20s; medium, lls to 10s; light and aged Ills to 13s. P'.gs, IST yarded. All forward suckers and slips were strongly competed for, and sold at advanced prices, but porkers and baconcrs were iu over supply.
